CyberBuddy partners meet in Reggio Calabria to advance efforts against cyberbullying outputs

On 23–24 October 2024, the CyberBuddy project partners met in Reggio Calabria, Italy, for a face-to-face transnational meeting aimed at further advancing the project’s mission to combat cyberbullying among secondary school students.

As the consortium enters the second year of implementation, partners reaffirmed their commitment to equipping students and teachers with digital tools and knowledge to recognise and prevent inappropriate online behaviour.

During the meeting, the consortium reviewed key milestones, including the development of the 18 Digital Escape Room scenarios, which will soon be available on the project’s online platform as an interactive resource to promote digital safety and empathy.

Special thanks were extended to the hosting organisation, Innovamentis, for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation, which contributed to the success of the meeting.

Looking ahead, the partners will focus on developing new learning materials and producing two educational videos portraying cyberbullying from different perspectives — further supporting the project’s goal of creating a safer and more empathetic digital environment for young people.
