The Alberto Sampaio School Group, located in Braga, is a portuguese public educational institution, composed of several schools from pre-school to secondary education. It consists of eleven organic units: three kindergartens, two primary schools, four primary schools with kindergarten, one middle school, and one secondary school. It has units in the parish of Esporões and in the unions of parishes of Lomar and Arcos, Nogueira, Fraião and Lamaçães, São José de São Lázaro and São João do Souto and Morreira and Trandeiras, within a radius of approximately five kilometers. The context of the School Group is urban/semi-urban and occasionally rural.

Just like its physical surroundings, the public of each educational unit is distinct, with some of these units being located in areas already predominantly rural, on the outskirts of the municipality, and others in a strongly urban context. Its mission is to provide quality education and promote the academic success of its students. 

The School Group stands out for its diversity of educational offerings, with vocational courses, scientific-humanistic courses, and adult education and training courses. In the various levels of education, especially in night classes due to the existence of Portuguese courses for foreigners, students from sixty different nationalities, from all regions of the world, attend the school group.
