Nick reads the post and laughs it off, thinking it’s just another online prank.

However, out of curiosity, he decides to look up more about Momo. He finds various stories and videos warning about Momo sending harmful messages and challenging kids to engage in dangerous activities.

The more Nick reads, the more uneasy he feels. He comes across accounts of kids who received disturbing messages from Momo, urging them to perform increasingly dangerous tasks.Examples of the challenges start to fill Nick’s mind.

One story details how a child was dared to stay up all night and watch horror videos, causing severe sleep deprivation. Another describes a teenager being challenged to steal something from a store, which led to serious trouble with the police. The most alarming stories are about kids being challenged with self-harm, with the final challenges sometimes involving life-threatening actions. Nick starts to realise the gravity of what initially seemed like a joke.

Despite the growing sense of dread, Nick brushes it off, convincing himself that those are all just stories designed to scare people. However, a lingering unease remains as he continues to see more posts and comments about Momo from other students at his school.
