In the meantime, Rita deleted her social media profile. Pedro never heard from Rita again and he was worried. He understood that he had made things difficult by sharing Rita’s photo without talking to her first to find out why she had changed it. Even though Pedro wanted to reverse the situation, he realised that he had lost control, given the number of people defending him against ‘fake people’. He recognised that now he would have to ask for help to resolve the situation… ‘But who?’ His father worked nights and his mother had to look after his two younger brothers. He didn’t want to worry them with this! (‘But they’d know…’) He decided to talk to Mrs. Joaquina, a very nice member of staff at the school, who cared about all the students and whom he had known since the 5th grade. Mrs. Joaquina was very empathetic towards him and tried to help him. The schools mobilised to help them.
